Re: Jane Bright - Nicaragua (Espada)
Bright, she is. As in fire smarts. Way to go!
I also liked that she had taken Probst's words to heart - anyone who can't make fire shouldn't be on Survivor. Makes me wonder if they ask them that on further applications... Can you make a fire with no matches? Provide details below.
Re: Jane Bright - Nicaragua (Espada)
Jane is the one bright spot on Espada for me...I hope if the tribes merge she doesn't get booted for being "the oldest female" blah blah blah. She's a player!
Re: Jane Bright - Nicaragua (Espada)
LOVED seeing her eat the fish by herself last night!!!!! i was nervous the whole time hoping she didn't get caught. Not really the right way to do things for the team, but i couldn't be mad at her for it. :)
Re: Jane Bright - Nicaragua (Espada)
Wasn't that just one fish of a few (and they all seemed rather large).
Wonder if she shared any of her crispy critter with the camera man shadow, LOL.
Re: Jane Bright - Nicaragua (Espada)
What is Jane's sad story? I don't see it written up anywhere.

I LOVE this woman! She's tough, she's funny and she doesn't take any b.s. She's going to outlast, outwit and outplay you Marty, accept it!

Maybe so, but she is incredibly annoying, and nasty. She overreacts about everything.

I agree! I just adore her. And she's well within her right to feel about Marty the way she does. He didn't even really try with this woman. I mean, the lady is a hard worker and she started their fire without flint. That should have clued him in that she has a little more than mush for brains...lol.
I'm terribly sorry to hear about her husband. I'm sure that's going to be hard on her.

Is that all of her "sad story" - per Marty's speech at TC? There must be more to it than just that. Didn't Marty say that she needs the money, so is she about to lose her house?
Yes, losing a spouse is sad, but so far I don't remember Jane ever mentioning that during any of the televised episodes. Therefore, I have no idea what Marty was talking about. Did I miss something?
