You can all thank Jeff Probst for this. This is highly rumoured to be his last season of hosting and thus the last season of Survivor. Jeff is the one who supposedly pushed hard for this idea and they made this idea come to life to fulfill his last wishes.

I think they should have ended it with the last one. 10 years, 20 seasons, and a great note to end on. Now I know Russell will win What better glory than having 3rd times the charm and winning the last ever Survivor contest. I thought CBS had renewed it at least for a couple more seasons? Wonder who will win the reality host Emmy now.

Well, here is hoping that they CAN NOT rig it so that Russell Hantz wins the very last Survivor. This really really disappoints me if Jeff Probst is behind this, and this rumor is true.

Hopefully after the 2 tribes merge there will be enough good players left, and they will get rid of Russell BEFORE the FTC. I hope that they AT LEAST cast some people there who aren't enamored with Russell and aren't gullible enough to buy into his lies.

If there is *any* whiff of physical sabotage at Russell's tribe, he's a dead man walking as soon as he can be disappeared. So in addition to having to change his game, he will probably be assumed to be a tribe liability whether he is this season or not.

Whether it's Probst's idea or not, the whole concept is just pathetic. The show jumped the shark many moons ago for a lot of viewers... I think this will be the season that us die-hard Surivor fans finally throw in the towel. I really have zero interest in a third season of watching Russell Hantz inflate his ridiculous ego and tell us over and over and OVER again how great he is. "Best Player Ever"? Perhaps the best at helping to ruin what was once a really great show.

Oh, and PS... you don't need to be "nice" to win a jury's vote... "nice" is a word I'd never, ever use to describe Sandra Diaz-Twine, and she won twice, no?
