Survivor is moving to Wednesday Fall 2010

CBS just annouced it's fall 2010 lineup and their have been several scheduling moves. Survivor will now air at 8-9pm EST on Wednesday nights instead of Thursday.

I personally don't mind as I have too many shows that I watched overlap on Thursday nights. Still this means that Survivor will directly be competing against the CW's powerhouse America's Next Top Model. Wonder how that will effect the ratings????

I don't know about ANTM but I do know that I have watched Survivor for on Thursday's for 13 years. I am not so sure you can teach this old dog new tricks. Will I remember to watch??? How many times will I sit down on THurs and find that I missed the show??

This was fine with me, as I'm the same way with my DVR choking from overload and wanting to punch me in the face on Thursday nights. I'm more irritated that CW has banished Supernatural's final season to the graveyard shift on Friday nights. This will take an adjustment for Survivor, but I'll get used to it.

8:00-8:30 PM THE BIG BANG THEORY
8:30 - 9 P.M. $#*! MY DAD SAYS
9:00-10:00 PM CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
10:00-11:00 PM THE MENTALIST

It's a good thing that CBS does show Survivor online.

If Tyra keeps making the choices she's made in the recent season - shoots, judges, and the like, "Survivor" will probably end up dominating the competition.

I kinda like it - it'll make Tyra actually have to work instead of coast. And I can see more of the shows I also want to see on Thursdays.

Ack! How will I remember to have Mr. S take out the garbage? Our pick-up is Friday mornings, so when Survivor is on I always remind him it's garbage night.

What! I thought Vampire Diaries and Supernatural were a perfect completment. Now I go from having a packed Thursday to having a packed Friday, Smallville, Supernatural, SG: Universe and Spartacus. Oh, well at least it looks as if the other networks are also putting some decent stuff on Fridays.

I think, or at least hope, not at all. I think each show primarily has a different demographic.
I gave up on ANTM half way through last season and do not plan on watching it anymore. It has become quite predictable for me as far as the eventual winner is concerned. I've managed to peg the last three winners from either pre-season or after Ep 1. Perhaps the last 4, I'm losing count. Then there is the fact that ANTM has changed drastically since its inception. Tyra basically targets the female tween crowd full on, now. And I found the theme of the last Cycle somewhat disturbing, given the viciousness that can occur within today's technology in the hands of that crowd. And finally, I'm fed up with the ridiculous eliminations that send a girl home who is clearly better than the other girl standing next to her in the bottom two. This happened at least twice last Cycle (before I quit). ANTM has nothing to do with Top Model (not that it ever did) and everything to do with catty entertainment.
But I digress. Point is, Survivor all the way pour moi.
