Parvati Shallow: H vs V - Villain

so many of you (along with JP and others) think Parv is HOT. Now I think she is a cute girl... but what makes her HOT? I think her looks are a dime a dozen... but she seems to have that "x-factor" and has a way of tilting her head or giggling at just about the right time... To me she is that young girl who is not particularly all that cute but seems to have a flair for the way she dresses and moves... I ask this because I find it odd that many also find her "HOT" but can't stand her ethos. What is it about Parv??

The way anybody carries themselves can make them that much more attractive. I think that is why a lot of attraction towards anyone isn't instant; physically a person may not do enough for you initially, but once you see how they carry themselves, a person can become that much more attractive.

I am Not a Parvati fan, but I think the way she played the two hidden immunity idols to save Jerri and Sandra was brilliant! I'm way behind with the DVR, but I just saw that episode, and I couldn't stop laughing! She had to play both of the idols for all of the reasons mentioned here, PLUS one: She needed to show the jury that she IS a game player, and not just a coat tail rider. Therefore, if she gets to the end, she can point out big plays she made for herself when asked the perennial question: "What was your game changing play, and why should we give a million dollars to a coat tail rider?"

I'm with you on this. I am not a Parv fan at all, but that was a great move and it made me laugh. She has my respect for that but I still don't want her to win. The only way I would root for her would be if she was F2 with Russell.

I so agree with you on this... and I think it is those looks that Parv has which make her attractive... But the odd thing is that it is those same looks or mannerisms which turn so many off... Then there is the group which are turned off by the way she carries herself, yet still find her HOT... that baffels me.

I realized last night whom Parvati reminds me of. Mandy Moore without makeup when she was 16! Or 14.

She looks very young and more like a girl than a woman. I don't know her age but she has teen-girl-like mannerisms and stuff like the giggly thing, smugness, laughing at people, etc. She takes you back to high school.

LOL, that's a nice way to put it. She's very flirty. I think she acts loose. I get the distinct impression she'd do anything to succeed at whatever her current objective is, taking all three of her performances into account.
But, that's just one person's opinion.

I really don't think she is HOT. Very cute, shag-able for sure, sexy yes. But not drop dead gorgeous. I think Candice is more in the drop dead gorgeous category. But Parvati has brains when you don't think at the outset she is anything other than a total bimbo. She is very very smart, as I said on another thread, maybe the best overall player ever. Candice is smart too, but she doesn't have the personal charm that Parvati does. And I went into this not really being a fan of Parvati at all, because I do hate the whole, "I'll use my sex appeal and flirtation to make men do what I want" That just grates on my nerves. But hey, its a million dollar game, more power to her. She has won my respect. Definitely someone that I think will go far in life and in business if she sets her mind to it.

I would never say never-I think the right incentives could lure her back.

Loads of Survivors hate each other, I can imagine them wanting Parvati and Amanda back just for that reason alone.

This was an interesting interview with Steph that mentioned a few of the other Survivor "enemies".
