Survivor is every bit as much a social game as a game of strategy. Natalie played that part of it far better than anyone else. And remember, there were plenty of other people using Russell as a shield who fell by the wayside. I say kudos to her!

Yep.

The "brilliant game" is the one played by the winner. She knows how to relate to other people as human beings and RH obviously does not.

She does deseve the million. And RH obviously does not.

Russell is not going to have to beg to be on ALL STARS...he has already been picked and in Jeff's People MAG blog he called Russell the best player of all time. Unfortunately Russell forgot to Kiss some a** at final tribal and that was his downfall.

Natalie attached herself to Russell from the beginning, did his bidding, stayed loyal to the end and played a social game as well. She worked Galu in a way that Russell could never have and deserves the win. She understood that the social aspect is just as important and she SURVIVED. Congrats to her!

Best player of all time? I think that still goes to Hatch. Best player that didn't win may be a more fitting title

That he treated so many people so badly throughout the entire contest also helped keep him from the prize.

Caught the reunion show just now, and might I say, I am HAPPY EXCITED THRILLED ECSTATIC that that arrogant, worthless douche Russel H did not win! Natalie winning was the absolute best thing that could have ever happen, not only because it prevented that jerk winning, but because it proved what I have been saying for years: Survivor can be won by riding coattails, playing under the radar and letting someone else take the brunt of it while being a nice person! I hate seeing UTR players who try and be nice to everybody get punished only for being physically weak, especially the ladies!

And, of course, it figures that Russel H remains a complete douchebag in the reunion show. He's actually trying to hog all the attention for himself and demeaning Natalie, and I find it disgusting how some of the audience are rooting for him. It's definitely a real breath of fresh air to see the others calling him out for the complete a-hole he is.

And finally, to hear him say he played the best strategic gameplay in the history of the game? In this season, I could probably say, okay, maybe. But in the history of the game, ever? Yeah, I got three words for that: LOAD OF BULL! There is no doubt in my mind that the best strategic play in the history of Survivor, arguably, was played by Cirie, in both her seasons, by not only being likeable, but also brilliant, despite being physically weak. And, just like Russell, she did not win (probably only cause Mark Burnett screwed her out of a Final 3 in her second season). So yeah, Russell H does not even begin to compare to Cirie.
