He who laughs last thinks slowest
Maybe we should chug on over to namby pamby land where we can find some self confidence for you, you jackwagon!
Well the reasons that John was voted out I can think of:
1. Big boo boo, he didn't share the pie with the others. And kept it to himself.
2. A threat physically and mentally.
3. Cocky and arrogant.
4. Another big boo boo...he ended up voting for Laura a couple of weeks ago.
Memorial Day 2013!
I'm not postive without rewatching but I don't think it was 'share the pie with the others' I think it was have your piece or let 4 others share a whole pie.
"It's just a show" - let's try not to trash people - tptb do that very well all on their own they don't need our help!
As nuts as Shambo is - Jaison was right, they should have at least given Shambo a heads-up because she could now flip back to the other side and the numbers are even meaning there could be a tie vote (don't think Galu is smart enough to figure it out and finally start playing up to Shambo though). It looks from the previews as though they might be thinking of getting Russell out (probably means it doesn't happen) wouldn't be surprised if they were talking about the next vote after getting rid of Dave.

Or they really plan to vote him off and he wins immunity/plays his idol.Originally Posted by just logic;3762034;
Also it's clear that Shambo has no idea what she's doing. She can be cut at any time, which is partly why she's made it so far (that and her crazy vendetta against Laura which worked in her favor).
I don't think Monica liked John. Besides the more recent event of him voting out Laura, when Jaison and Mick approached her about flipping a while ago, she said, "Okay but it has to be John." Now, we all know she wasn't serious about flipping, but I don't think she would have said the name of someone she liked. Then when she came up with her plan to try to save Laura, she stuck with the John suggestion which was good for consistency but again, I think was rooted in a real dislike. He does have a lot of disdain for the intelligence of the Galu tribe, and rightfully so, but Monica and others may have picked up on that and resent him for it.Originally Posted by Brooks;3761994;
Maybe I missed something but didn't the recap show Russell letting the chickens out of the cage? This show they are back in the cage and eventually in the pot .....

IIRC, didn't John also annoy his team in the first two episodes? His being a rocket scientist (even though they don't know his job, I believe) brings about a ton of arrogance that was pretty evident up front.Originally Posted by Mags225;3762043;
I might be remembering it wrong....
Never let the things you want make you forget about the things you have.
It made perfect sense. For the past 4 weeks Dave went to TC thinking that his team was safe and that they had the vote in the bag... and it never happened. So this week he goes to TC believing (and hoping) that he was safe and they were voting out John. He had no reason to think it would go down as planned... so if it did, he would be shocked.Originally Posted by Krom;3761981;

For whatever reason, they decided to only show that in the recap show last week. Who knows if they really got loose---we only saw Russell unlatch the cage door, and him talking about the chaos it would cause.Originally Posted by rocketter;3762044;
The Bachelor/Bachelorette series is a soap opera with unskilled actors, bad writing, and beautiful locations...it even edits the real moon!
