I see he was born & raised in Missouri. I used to live there, there is a big divide between black & white there. Most blacks live in St Louis and the surrounding areas mostly white. If you live someplace were that is the way it is that they don't interact, he most likely doesn't see himself as racist. It is to him simplely the "way" it is.

Just because to him that's "the way it is" doesn't mean he's not racist. Whether he sees it or not, he's a pig!

Yep... this guy took the lead from Russell H. in the biggest-jerk-of-the-season race. At least Russell has some sort of strategy going, flawed as it may be.

We got our first introduction to his nastiness in the premiere, with his vicious comments about Marisa.

I was revolted by his "ghetto trash" comment about Yasmin, and he said it twice.

The sooner he and Russell H. are booted, the more likely it is that I will continue watching this season. I don't have a favorite yet (that would help), but Ben and Russell H. are the dregs of the barrel.

I posted last week that he seemed over the top nasty toward Marisa.
And, this week, he was just vicious and mean.
If he's playing for the camera, then he's pretty stupid.
If he's playing to win, then he's pretty stupid.
Anyway I look at it, he's stupid, mean and despicable.

Interesting editing note: Ben says Probst speech on roughhousing and throwing someone out of the challange came AFTER Ben was kicked out, not as a warning before. So we are not always shown stuff in order it seems

pawpaw, if that were the case, then the exchange between Ben and Jeff at TC about Jeff's sissy rules makes no sense.

So I think Ben is lying, because you can edit out (or around), but you can't edit in.
