Kel seems to be okay now. It's short of a miracle that he wasn't killed during that attack.
Kel talks about his attack on the following article I came across.

Thanks for the link to the story Wolf.
What a sad story - makes me sick to my stomach.
I hope Kel has a speedy recovery.

Yes, thanks for the link, Wolf...
That is such a horrible thing to have happen to anybody...I do hope they find the S.O.B.'s that did this to Kel...![]()
I was on E! Online today and the news in breif section has this:
Quite a while after it actually happened, and a day after I saw a guest lurking in this thread. Coincidence?ROUGHED UP: Ken Gleason, the Survivor: Australia contestant accused of sneaking food, beaten by four bar patrons in an incident in Toronto on September 20. He reportedly suffered serious head injuries.
(I hope I didn't make anyone's heads explode by posting in this forum)
Ken Gleason? I guess the E! Online proofreader was on a break when that snippet was uploaded...![]()
Hmm, I didn't even notice... leaving before fluff leaves a gray mess in her computer room that her dog will eat...
Serious head injuries, that's not good at all. Yikes. And Ducky, this story brought you into the Survivor forum because it's so hockey-esque.![]()

Kel was on Entertainment Tonight this week, talking about his attack. He looks all healed up, which is good. He said if he had a chance to do Survivor again, he'd go in a heartbeat...Listen up, Mark Burnett, for your Celebrity edition!
I hope he gets another chance...that whole beef jerky thing was incredibly unfortunate.

It was all because of that witch Jerri!
I liked Kel, he just didn't seem to fit in with the tribe. Seemed like a loner.
