Getting lost will help you find yourself.
He is another favorite, and he is my daughter's favorite, she loves the show and this is the first time she has picked a favorite before the show. She wants to be an astronaut too so that did it for her.
Although I happen to think the space program is an extraordinary waste of our country's money, he's my pre-show favorite, for the shear fact that he lives 25 minutes away from me.

Who was the last "Old Dude" to do well? Rudy in S1?
The last couple of Old Dudes looks very promising, but fizzed out rather sadly.
I've worked with Dan before - he's a nice guy and so smart that he's just a little left of center. A couple things that come to mind: his socks never matched and he never used capitals in his emails. He's a good team player so hopefully he can go far (and not do anything to embarrass the space program in the process!!).
The token old guy this year looks great on paper...obviously smart,a hero(what astronaut isn't a hero?)and all those awards!unfortunately,he won't last, which I hate to say because I am looking forward to watching him.

Can Ya Dig It?
I like Dan..I hope he does really well and I think he will as long as he pulls his weight and doesn't flounder on the challenges. He appears to be in really good shape as well.I worry about his skin though,he is going to burn like a french fry out there.
