I guess I'm in the minority here but I like Gary. Him and Danni are the only two left that I really like. I can't say that I blame him for concealing his NFL past. Sure he could have admitted it when confronted by some of the contestants but he chose not to because he probably felt it would hurt his chances in the game. The man came to play and win the game. This game will make a liar out of the most honorable person out there. I think Cindy said this best. In my eyes he's just as deserving to be there as any of the other players. I don't think he's any more boring than Lydia, Rafe or Cindy. IMHO he's more tolerable than the Axis of Evil.

I about cried when he revealed that he found the Immunity Doll. I was so happy for him and that he'd messed up Tribe of Six plan. Of course this meant that BJ would be sent home but hey, BJ only wanted to be on the jury. Hopefully Gary can shake up things next week. I hope it starts with him confronting and calling out Jamie and Judd for their lies.

I'm with you. I also like Gary and Danni. Doesn't that little immunity idol just about guarantee him a spot to the final four? If so, it looks like some of those guys might want to try to align themselves with him so they can get just as far.

OMG, GO GARY!!! That was an awesome moment, when he made with the idol. I was so hoping he'd found it, and he did such a great job of not letting on that he had found it. I loved the smile after he produced it to Jeff. That was a great time.

I thought Gary using the immunity idol right now was a huge mistake. The risk of going home right then and there was as small as someone in a minority alliance like Gary could make it. It would have been much better to save it until later in the game to overthrow the Axis of Stephenie.

He needed to save his ass last night. They were definitely going to vote him off. Why not use it??? They wanted to get rid of Jamie but he won the immunity challenge so...

I don't think Gary was at all that high a risk of going home last night. Gary should have realized that Bobby Jon would go before him because of the latter's proven physical strength. Danni would also be a higher priority because she might well be the closest thing to a leader the minority alliance had. You're always at risk when you're on the wrong side of an alliance, but it was as small as it was going to get for him.

I'll grant that what he did was the safe move. Keeping it would have been riskier, but it also offered a richer reward. Doing the latter would have been smarter in my opinion.

okay, i'm confused about the idol being a guarantee to the final four. i've heard it a few times now, and i don't get it. you can only use it once right? how is that a guarantee to the final four? unless there was only five survivors left, but thats not the case. am i missing something here? i think gary was smart using it. they were talking about voting him off. it would have been risky sitting on it. can you imagine being sent to the jury with an immunity idol in your pocket?

i'm very confused about the idol doll too - i thought he kept it and could use it over and over - but others on last nights discussion, says it can only be used once - and some are talking as if it will be hid again for others to find.

can someone clarify this ?? please !!!

i think your post just clarified it for me. people must be confusing the fact that you can use up until the final four, with you can use it over and over until the final four. i think jiffy meant if you found it, you could sit on it, until there are five left. if know one found it before the final four, you couldn't use it anymore.

Sure, but all of that probably makes him a pretty good Survivor player, even if it means you wouldn't want to invite him over for lunch or something like that...
