Yeah, there is always the "Gettin' to know you" period.

Lea and Chris are running out of people to pagong, and a mixup is coming. And the Girls team is far less stable.
It is getting interesting, and there's no solid "Rob and Amber" to f' things up yet.

Yeah... I'm definitely interested to see how this season will turn out, but if Chris and Sarge got split up... or, better yet, Chris got voted off (better only because I hate him )... that would make for some strong, unstable fireworks. This season seems to be more about thinking than physical might, and watching out for your own back rather than the best interest of the team. I think it'll be interesting to see how that plan will turn out in the end.

I don't think it is blah at all. I like that we don't know for sure what will happen. It isn't like Amazon where the youngers all voted the same all the time. You don't know how it will go.

Brady was my pick to win, too but I guess it won't happen. Now I am rooting for Ami.

I've always been "blah" about it until the 5th or 6th episode when the particulars get ironed out.

I never get really excited the frist few episodes. It takes me a while to decide who I really like and who I really hate.

But the Amazon was unpredictable. And this season is headed in the direction of being predicatable, although the mix up might change that. Maybe.

I have to agree with you holly. I don't even care if I miss the show or not anymore.

The old folks are smart in teaming up from the get go, but that does not mean I have to like it. Jeff also annoys me with his dumb questions at tribal council. I think it is time he is replaced, but I don't think it will happen.

Just curious ... if Chad hasn't done anything yet, what qualifies him to be your favorite ?

For me, I pick favorites because they have personalities ... I liked JFP, but would never have a jerk like him as a friend - he just made the show worth watching. Jerri was also a person to watch for some spice, although I didn't like her at all. RobM dominated ASS and I liked watching him. RobC was very crafty in the Amazon and I liked watching him ...they all had personalities.

What kind of personality is Sarge ? ... a bossy type, but no personality. What kind of personality is Chris ?... who knows, he's not on much ... Royry is annoying, but he's no JFP or Jerri.

I hope this weeks shake-up will reveal some personalities.

Edit add - challenges that feature more physical demands rather than puzzle after puzzle will make it more interesting too. They are at a beach, and so far we've not seen any physically challenging swimming events, or any running thru the jungle challenges.

I definitely agree... I missed most of the premiere (Canadian Idol finale was on that night)... what little I did see of the premiere bored me... I watched the second episode... I was away in Montreal for the third episode... and then this past episode, I was busy at my church, and I usually make a point to be finished by Survivor time, but I completely forgot about it, and came in half way through... and I can't say I was all that upset... I just couldn't care less this season is basically it.... it reminds me of S5&6 which had the same effect on me (I didn't watch either of them cause they just bored me) S7 recaptured my attention, and was excellent, but then ASS sucked ASS...
