Clearly Clay could grow a beard at Loser Lodge just as easily as he could from the camp. Maybe he thought Erin would find the beard sexy!

I wouldn't be surprised if Clay went next.

The fact that Penny invited Clay to her wedding makes me think they spent some time at loser lodge together.
They weren't together in the game for very long.

The spoiling community hasn't been nearly as accurate this year if my memory serves me correctly.
As Invis says, the analysis is great, but the end result isn'ty always correct.
TDT is a very reputable site though and I don't think they would print this spoiler if they didn't believe there was some truth to it.

Brian had a fair few days stubble on the very first show so beard analysis is pretty meaningless really.
I would hope they have more to base this theory on than that.

Vee did at least rally from being out-numbered at the Rotu camp post switch and the Soliantu tribe post merge.
Clay has always been in a reasonably good position so I would see a win for him to be a failure on the part of the others to successfully recognised him and Brian as threats and do something about it.
