    Probst to host finale.

    Finally Probst gets his day in the sun.
    Instead of scurrying off after the result is read and leaving the finale fun to Gumble or Rosie, Probst is getting his chance to host.

    Honestly, I don't think there is a better person to do it. Bryant Gumbel, well, sucked. Rosie couldn't shut up enough to squeeze any questions out and let's face it... Jeff is familiar with the first 4 bootees that no one ever asks any questions.

    This is good.
    If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
    It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

    I think this is an excellent decision.

    I always felt bad that he hosted the whole series and then had to slink off so someone else could get the finale gig.
    He plays his part in making the show what it is imo, and I don't think anyone else could host Survivor.

    Gumble never looked interested and Rosie ruined the finale for me last year.

    I couldn't agree more, Fluff. Gumble is a pompous ass and I can't stand him, and I find Rosie, well, creepy; I will never understand her popularity.

    Jeff is great. He also cracks me up on the commercial he's in.

    What commercial is that Wayner?

    Jeff has gotten more likeable. I'd think that I wouldn't care for him so much as he's gotten more preachy with the Survivors, but ironically, I like him more because of it.
