So... what was up with Jakes "adventure" stories last night (11-14)?
Was he being honest, or was Clay right?

He was really droning on and on.
"Anyone want to hear all about me?"
Uh, no Jake I don't thanks.
If he's trying to win people over he should be talking to them about themselves, not about his own adventures.
I do believe some of what he was saying, but he did seems to be embellishing his stories.

Totally unrelated - Nice wife Jake, very pretty and looked very classy. Brian, take note.

My take on Jake with the stories was just a case of a guy trying to fit in. I felt bad for him. And was it just me or was Chuay Ghan REALLY vicious before SJ returned from TC?

I think he was tryoing to fit in, but his stories were getting a little far fetched.
He was going on about Helen and her recipes last week, now we get him and his adventure tales.

Yep, they were being mean and bitchy before the Sooks got back from TC.

I didn't like when I heard him telling about shooting the squirrel - at least that's what I think he said, did anyone hear that?
If he did, I don't want him to win anymore

I didn't like the stories, but he's still my new favorite, upon Ken's exit.

He certainly comes across as being a very likeable guy.

Modesty, the squirrel making noise got his attention, so he could shoot the Buck. He shot it in the butt with a bow and arrow, which really isn't good. An arrow CAN make a good clean kill shot, butt if he hit it in the rear there's a good chance he just ran off into the woods... not fun

Hopefully if Jake continued to bow hunt he practiced more before going out.

Hopefully he gave up on it altogether.
