I was happy to see Dave in the cast. He is another guy that seems real, and hopfully he will bring some comic relief to the show. He is another person who is in it for a good time. I think he will be the peace-keeper in the house kind of like the role that Erik Estrada had.

dave was my favorite houseguest, with ryan coming in second (so far.) i think you're right about him being this season's erik estrada and the peacekeeper. his confessionals are hysterical.

Dave is my favorite. too. I never saw him on Full House or America's Funniest Home Videos so he's new to me. He's a cutey - down to earth and laid back, but funny.

Sher, didn't you say in another post that he was the inspiration for Alanis Morrisette's You Oughta Know? He really doesn't seem like the type. Were you joking or does he have a dark side? ( I like a LITTLE mystery )

Oh yes. Uncle Joey has the distinction of turning our Alanis from a teeny bopper disco queen to an angst ridden artist spitting obscenties.
How charming.

He also must have a horrible sense of timing , dumping said Alanis just before she hit big. I hope there are no theater dates

I'm glad they added him to the cast for comic relief. I just noticed that the rest of the cast are all singers....unless there is a Dave Coulier record out there that I don't know about.

I liked him in the first episode, although he seemed like maybe he was in over his head

Felt bad that he had to go sleep in the closet due to flavs snoring.

I have really enjoyed Dave so far. He is my favorite houseguest as well. He brings the comic relief that this show needs.

It's a shame I don't have cable. Seeing Dave do Bullwinkle Moose voices and bemoan his non-existant career, while dealing with other has-been asshats, sounds like fun.

All I can think about when I see Dave is Alanis Morisette. Can you believe she lost her virginity to this guy?
