LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "The Surreal Life" is moving from the WB Network to VH1.
The music cable network has ordered 10 new episodes of the series, which trains cameras on a motley group of celebrities living together in a Hollywood mansion. "Surreal" is expected to bow on VH1 in the third quarter after wrapping its second season on the WB earlier this year.
Separately, VH1 announced a slew of pickups for existing unscripted/documentary series, including "Best Week Ever," "Driven," "VH1 ILL-ustrated" and "Bands Reunited." The channel also has ordered 10 episodes of "I Love the '90s," the next installment of the decade-by-decade look at pop culture trends.
Glad to see them pick it up, but I dont want the show to be ruined by washed up rockers.
