Known to television viewers as the sexy siren on MTV's The Real World: Las Vegas, Trishelle Canatella returns to heat things up on reality television again on The WB's series The Surreal Life.

Canatella was born and raised in a small, ultra-conservative town in the bayou of Louisiana. Her mother, a devout Southern Baptist, took Canatella and the family to church four times a week. A strong-willed, independent child, Canatella was involved in every school club and sport. She especially enjoyed art class, drama club, singing and playing the piano. At the age of 12, with a screechy voice, Canatella made a tape of herself singing the Vanessa Williams song Save the Best for Last for her mom, who thought it was the best thing ever. Sadly, when Canatella was only 14, her mom passed away. After the tragedy, Canatella found herself slowly growing away from the church. She became less interested in school and spent more time partying with her friends.

After graduating high school, Canatella attended the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in Advertising. Three classes shy of graduating, Canatella heard about a casting call for a reality show. Though she was not cast in this series, it wasn't long until she joined the cast of MTV's The Real World: Las Vegas. She moved to Las Vegas and spent five months living in the Palms Casino Hotel with six strangers she learned to call friends and one person who became more than a friend. Canatella soon learned that her sweet Louisiana belle reputation would not survive Sin City. With her exploits on tape, Canatella made the best of every situation and learned from the experience.

Following Canatella's appearance on The Real World, she kept busy doing campus tours, nightclub promotions and posing for Playboy's Girls of Reality TV pictorial and DVD. She has made guest appearances on MTV's Road Rules: Campus Crawl, The Tom Green Show, VH1's Inside Real World and MTV's Punk'd.

Recently, Canatella appeared in MTV's The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet. She has also tried her hand at acting, appearing in the ensemble Off-Broadway production Pieces of Ass.

Taking a break from reality, Canatella resides in Los Angeles with fellow reality TV star and southerner Katie, from MTV's Road Rules season 10.

i actually seen this ^ and she still looked gross to me...she was saying how nervous she was, but she looked pretty comfortable with the cameras taking shots of her naked body...also Arissa (the black chick from the same RW-Vegas whos face always looked beat up without 3 coats of makeup) was on there, although she is ugly she looked good doing the spreads...Katie from RR10 also who was recently on the Gauntlet was on there too, she's not cute to me either, but she looks way better than Trichelle, imo---btw, them 2 apparently are best friends, go figure ...that older chick Tanya from BB3 was on there, man she's a freak, i thought her and the bf were going to make there own pamela/tommy lee video for PBTV, they were way too comfortable on camera...Shannon from BB2 was on that joint too, she appeared kinda shy about her body, but i think she has a nice athletic build...there was also a chick from Survivor, but i can't remember who it was since i didn't watch that season of Survivor

i had never even heard of this woman prior to seeing her name among the cast for surreal life 2. it kind of bugs me that she's going to be on the show. i know that last season has the girl from survivor, but at least most americans didn't have to tune into mtv to know who she was.
