you're definitely not the only one watching the show -
wow Katie, as much as i don't like her personality, really surprised me! she WAS good! And yes, to be fair, Lauren was the flattest tonight!

I was watching too, Mr. Marleybone got home from work right when it started so I had to give up the computer.
I think maybe Katie's strategy of distancing herself from the other girls might have paid off, she has been the best the last 2 episodes. I agreed that Cecile played it too angry and too old. Michelynne and Mercedes were ok but Lauren was really flat. So far I have agreed with who they sent home each week.
There's a lot of tension between Katie and the other girls but with Lauren gone maybe it will calm down a little. Lauren and Katie were a catfight waiting to happen.

Next week should be interesting with them having to do stand up.

I also agreed with Lauren going home. I really thought she was progressing, but she dropped the ball this week. Mercedes seems to be moving back up after two hard weeks. I liked Cecile's scene tonight, but it wasn't her best. Michelynne, too green and probably the next to go. Katie, whoa....she nailed it.

I said that I thought Lauren would win....boy was I wrong.

But I'm wrong a lot....

I would have booted Cecile. I didnt like her in the drama class, and I didnt like her scene.

Tonite I thought Lauren came across as mean and catty; I didnt like her at all. I'm glad she's gone. With the ringleader gone, Katie may be able to have a better relationship with the other girls. Katie is too brusque and upfront, but she didnt attack anyone personally, just made it clear that she was there for a purpose. She tried to reach out later in the show, but Lauren was too much of a bitch to let her.

I watched during TAR commercials again. I find the elimination part at the end to be rather amusing. The judges are overly dramatic and serious. From what I saw, Lauren was the right one to go. But Katie just seems so annoying. Can't wait to read oneTVslave's recap so I know what I missed.

I thought Cecile was going for sure, until the judges commented how they liked her breakdown/breakthrough.

Lauren was a good actress, but I agree that this was not her best performance, although I thought it was better than Cecile's. I would have been interesting to see if the co-stars (the guy from 7th Heaven) was able to deliberate with the judges.

Lauren was drama, especially her tiffs with Katie, at time Lauren came off as too angry toward her. Especially since the other girls just ignored Katie.
Lauren is pretty and skinny enough for some Hollywood agent or casting director to snatch her up.

I watch what they let you see of some of the clips and I still have this question....Do any of these ladies really seem like a possible star? they still seem more like reality tershow participants. I would think that if they had an open casting call, they would get half a dozen better performances than they get on the show.

the Lauren-Katie drama was one of the more intriguing aspects of the story.....As a viewer, I'm sorry this part of the story line is over. I still look forward to the show making the candidates act in a scene with Faye Dunaway and Vivica Fox.
