For a girl with so little experience, I thought she was very brave and did fine in the kissing scene. She probably would have done great with a more sensitive partner like Cecile, for example. Mercedes is a good bit older than Michelynne and has probably kissed plenty of guys, but if The Courtney had come on to her like that she probably would have jumped out of the hot tub and run screaming into the woods.
I think Michelynne may be lacking in experience but she is lovely and courageous and has a lot of potential. She really, really wants this - it is an opportunity for her to change her lot in life.

I'd love to see her win this, even though Cecile is clearly the best actress in the group, in my opinion.

Does anyone think the acne is going to be a problem? From her picture in this thread, she obviously covers it well when she needs to, and none of the judges have said anything yet.

I think you guys are right about the WB look. She has the youthfulness they push in their model/actors.

I haven't been here in a long while...

I'm gonna jump right in again

I like Michelynne (although I do wish she had a name that didn't sound like a tire).

She is gorgeous, petite, huge eyes and the camera loves that type of look. Faye Dunaway obviously likes her too and Faye didn't just fall off the turnip truck so - that speaks highly for Michelynne.

At only 18, she's at somewhat of a disadvantage as far as 'winning' this competition. She has less life experience to call upon than the other 'girls', and it's all about delivering hte goods each week. I do think she's a quiet favorite of the judges though and I kind of see a fix in the works here perhaps. We'll see.

But I mean - what would make better copy than "girl comes from poverty to stardom" type of thing. Almost like an old Hollywood musical.

As far as getting work from this show airing - I think she will. She has lots of years to audition too and work on her 'craft' which I hope she will (although not with a hokey teacher who will just make her self consciously focus on her 'emotions' rather than learn technique). In this town, past 25 years old is 'over the hill' as far as just starting out. At least, that's what they will all tell you... which is why I think some of these women are older than they're admitting to... And that in turn skews the way agents and casting people react when someone tells their REAL age.

Michelynne doesn't have to worry about any of that... she's young, young, young, still a kid really... and Hollywood LOVES youth.

If she can pull some technique out of the bag, she will win this. Otherwise, it's looking right now like Cecile. Hard to call though, really.

Michelynne is too young and immature. She needs a couple more years to grow up a little before tackling a career. She coasts on her looks. A little more Katie in her would do her a lot of good.

I disagree. She's not immature, she's just not mature enough. But she is gradually getting better.
