    Re: Nfl 2013 - 2014

I have learned not to walk out on a game that may look like it's over....but yesterday, it was obvious that it would have been OK....but, I've seen obvious games actually turn around, to everyone's disbelief. I went to a college game with my, then, husband who liked to leave before the game actually ended. We left when the game looked out of reach, and our team ended up winning. I didn't talk to that jackass for 2 days, and that was the last time I let him call the shots!

When I said no, I meant NO!

Wish I had said that at the altar!

Regarding your comment about leaving the game early . . . . .

Our local animal habitat place used the game as a theme and held their own Zooper Bowl. They encouraged visitors to wear the jersey supporting their team.

They reported via their Facebook page this morning that Denver "won" because there were more orange & blue jerseys than there were neon green & blue jerseys.

LOL! I guess so . . . . . do you think that maybe the Seahawks fans might still have been in front of their televisions watching the game while the Broncos fans wanted to be anywhere else but there???!!!

I couldn't believe how fast the first score was.... first play! I kind of figured that was going to set the tone of the game and man it sure did.

Everyone at my house was rooting for the Bronco's, as I was quietly hoping Seattle would win lol. I too, was tired of the Manning hoopla. Never heard a single OMAHA either thank goodness. Hated that the game was a blow out though. Boring! #1 Defense will beat #1 Offense every time I believe. Half time was meh for me. I like both Mars and RHCP but there was nothing really exciting about either performance. Commercials were a real let down as well. Hardly any funny ones it seemed. I always love the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial though. The Doritos one was cute and Chobani bear was great too. Other than that though, they weren't as good as last years. At least the food and drinks were good!

Here's to next year being a better game and to better commercials too!

Lol my score prediction was 27-21 Seahawks. I predict a 2 interceptions and a pick 6 lol. I know from watching so much football Peyton manning can be had. He becomes a goober in the playoffs and Super Bowl it's like he plays scared or something. Lol the guys yesterday thought I was crazy with my prediction yesterday. Not so much today!

I wonder how soon PETA contacted Joe Namath?

    Favorite commercials were:
Bob Dylan for the American car & worker - Chrysler
Doritos time machine. They're getting pretty dependable for a good commercial.
Budweiser pup & horse. Budweiser never fails to come through.
The Doberhuahua. That's the stuff nightmares are made of! - some car company, don't know who.
    Tim Tebow & cancelled contracts - T-Mobile I think.
The little girl who rides the big dog & hogties the little boy. I have no idea who it was for, but I laughed like crazy at that one. Maybe Doritos?
Gracie getting a little brother & negotiating a puppy out of it - Cheerios.
The 80's taking their Radio Shack back.

May as well speak of LEAST favorite commercial, too.

Mine is the Dale call for Mt. Dew lite (or whatever it's called)

Tooling around among the ducks may not have harmed any in realness, but the visual wasn't at all entertaining to me.

I wouldn't have leaned toward that brand anyway, but the commercial made me think less of the parent corporation altogether.
