I don't really pay attention to golf, but I know enough to know that she's doing reasonably well. I hope she does make it all the way to the final day, just to show that she can play at that level - and poke in the eye (figuratively) all the pinheads like Vijay Singh.

Oh, and the idiots at the PGA are now thinking of adding a male-only policy. Link here.

She will, and she'll kick ass.

Of course, it's very easy considering golf is not a sport. *dodges the lego thrown her way* Now Haley Wickenheiser, she's impressive. Especailly considering one of her first practices consisted of the biggest defenceman on her team hitting her for an hour and a half.

I used to like Vijay. Golf isn't really a sport to me, it's more like a skilled activity.

I completely agree with you about Hayley, Ducky. THERE'S an athlete.

She is holding on right now, right on the cut line. Probably needs a birdie in the final nine to make the cut.

well I've got a birdie for the sexist asses who don't think she deserves to be there even if she does make the cut, but it isn't a golf score.

Unfortunately, it looks like she is running out of gas. Had to be hugely stressful this week. Up to +4, and needs a huge turnaround to make the weekend.

Thanks for keeping this up to date, Bill. I'm at work, intensely interested, and trying not to surf too much lest I alert the Info Sec police!

Final word, as you all probably know, she missed the cut. But an historic and well-played 36 holes, nonetheless.
