Well, its been an interesting day so far.

I always liked Rafa but what sealed the deal was the first Wimbledon he won. Roger, and I do like him, was wearing that jacket of his for awhile and I felt that his attitude was that he was better and more privileged and deserving to be there.... that it would be easy as he is the King of Grass. But Rafa, always serious and getting the job done, took it to him and won. Just the feeling I had.

That was some great tennis today... happy to see Novak advance! Also excited for Milos and Genie Bouchard. Fingers crossed they make it to the final.

Murray just did not look right in that match. It surprised me because of how well he'd been playing, but it happens to all of them. Could be the problem was that he just hadn't really been challenged during the tournament and wasn't ready of up his level of play. Looks like the semis are both old guard against new rising stars.

I thought Jeannie Bouchard was facing a difficult match, but was delighted to see that she was up to it. I'm hoping for a good final match.

    Go Martina and Bryan brothers!

Watching the Bryan brothers vs Jack Sock and Victor Pospisil (sorry, I just seem to want to call him Popsicle ) in men's doubles final now on ESPN3. Good match so far. I hope to find Martina's final there later, too.

Bouchard was just outplayed today, but she's very young and will have many more chances, I believe. I doubt anyone could have beaten Kvitova today.

Well, WOW!!!! What a fantastic mens' doubles final. Sock and Pospisil won over the Bryans 6-7, 7-6, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5. I would not have predicted that in advance, but they sure earned it. Superb match. I'm watching the trophy presentation right now. Sock looks a little like a very young Nick Nolte to me.

Sad to say that Martina lost in her final. I thought her partner, Sfar from Tunisia, whom I really don't know, was the weaker partner for sure. They lost to Jana Novotno and Barbara Schett.

I'm hoping for a good match tomorrow.
