That was a surprise. Wozniacki has gone home too and Wawrinka as well.

I'm enjoying watching Rafa play when I can catch a match. That man on clay . . . . . . ain't nothin' else like it!

I was away so I didn't know about the other two. Wow.

I agree Nadal on clay is a sight to behold. I think he is THE greatest clay court player of all time. It will be hard to beat his record.

Another Nadal vs Djokovich finale. I'm all for it. Either way, the winner is a favorite. Rafa's got the edge in my opinion.

I would have watched the matches today, but . . . . . our NBC affiliate chose to go with a story about a local stabbing at a Navy facility. They had absolutely NO new information, just the tidbits which came out when the story first happened earlier in the morning. They rehashed the same stuff over and over and over again, even though the two other national networks chose to simply run a ticker across the bottom warning residents to be on the look out & telling you what streets to avoid.

I missed Nole's struggling (or so I've heard) and I missed Rafa taking Murray to school.

Well, I'm watching the men's final. Djokovich is barfing on the court and Nadal hurt his back. Maybe they can call it a draw??

I like them both, but I'm glad that Rafa won his 9th French Open. I've always like how real he appears when interviewed and how joyful he is with his success. No sense of entitlement at all or else he's a superb actor. I love watching him on any surface.

When he began, my son thought that he's be another of the clay court specialists without much success on other surfaces, but I didn't agree. Rafa is a favorite of mine.

He has proven himself. He can win on any surface, clay being his best. I have to see as an all around player on every surface, he is up there as the best player ever.
