Nadal vs Djokovic match tomorrow - alarm will be set and coffee maker programmed before I go to bed tonight.

HOPEFULLY . . . . Tropical Storm Andrea won't interfere with my viewing plans and knock out my satellite feed!

    lol! It did go fast.

Yet again, I am at work and keeping an eye on live scores. Just got latest result. Now I'm waiting for the Tsonga-Ferrer match.

Four plus hours for Nadal and Djokovic today - with about an hour of that being just the 5th set. Love 'em both, but I'm totally stoked for the outcome.

As long as I have been watching tennis - and my first love was Jimmy Connors - I had totally forgotten about that touching the net thing. How long as it been since they actually had to enforce that?!?!?!

Looks like Spain will be well-represented at the French Open finale this year. Still wrapping my head around Tsonga losing to Ferrer.

I cannot foresee a situation where Rafa will NOT have trophy number eight on the shelf after Sunday's match.

Yes, that was kind of anti-climatic.

I'm so pleased for Rafa. I don't dislike Federer or Djokovich, but I always find myself pulling for Nadal. Maybe it's because he appears so real and appreciative of the place he's made for himself. He doesn't present himself with an over-inflated ego. If it's phony, then he's got a place for himself as an actor when he retires from tennis.

I am thrilled that Rafa won today! 8 FO! Great job. I agree, he seems like a real nice guy. Very family oriented, not off jet setting and hanging out at the clubs. He has kept the same staff around him and I remember he lived at home for the longest time.
