I am, as much as my schedule and TV allows. Right now I'm at work and have slam tracker up. Isner in yet ANOTHER 5 setter!

Yes, I am watching the men's events. I can't enjoy women's tennis anymore because of the screeching and grunting.

Great match between Haas and Izner today though I was hoping for an Izner win. I've always liked him after that marathon match at Wimbledon a few years ago.

PREACH! I have gotten to the point where I can't even enjoy women's tennis with the MUTE button working because I just know they are making those noises. Azarenka is the absolute worst, but Sharapova isn't far behind.

That was a good one! I kept thinking back to the Isner v Mahut Wimbledon two day marathon that went 70-68 in the tiebreaker. You get to worrying that it's never gonna end!

I managed to watch today (Isner/Haas match). I agree with the commentators that a tie break should be allowed for the 5th set.

    Re: Tennis

I'm of two minds about a 5th set tiebreak. I remember before there were any tiebreaks in tennis at all. That's just the way it was, so it is more in the tradition of the sport. On the other side, the players probably expend a lot more energy in today's game, so there's the argument for it. I'll never forget that Izner/Mahut match though. It was mesmerizing.

The U.S. Open is the only major that allows 1 5th set tiebreak so far.
