WOW! Venus Williams OUT in the very first round. Shocking and sad.
I didn't realize that she was 32 years old. I wonder if medical condition has taken it's toll on her...

He was definitely out of sorts. When things go the way they did today, I have to wonder if he couldn't retire early (from tennis) and become a soccer player.
I was actually pleased that Rafa lost. I'd love to see a new player win this year.
I'm really irritated by the TV coverage. The coverage starts on ESPN here at 4 am. WTF? Ever heard of a time delay? I don't need to watch it live - I just want to watch it! Still, I'm not going to be watching starting at 4 am. Plus, I don't get TENNIS network, so that's hours of coverage I can't watch. Anyone know who's carrying the weekend coverage?
I have no problem with a new player winning it, but it will probably be either Federer or Djokovic. I'd be so pleased to see Del Potro, Murray or Tsonga win it. Imagine if Murray won it.... England would be in a riot!Quote:
