I watched ESPN's replay only because the dvr didn't catch all of the match - but at nearly 6 hours long, I didn't think it would.

Really thought Rafa could have pulled it off at the end (although I had my doubts during the third set) but Nole wins - again. Seven times in a row.

Ah well, both are off to a great start and I can't complain about that.

Okay, I'm watching the "replay" on ESPN2 right now and it's NOT the whole match. It's highlights and then the 3rd set onward....or at least that's where it was when I looked up at around 6:30 or so. Much better for me. I was pretty sleepy by the middle/end of the 4th!

Count me as a disappointed Rafa fan but lets face it Djokovic is on a hot streak. His game has improved and he is pretty unbeatable right now. That is how it goes. The men's game is not as wide open as the women's what with there being a different winner each GS. The top 4 men made it to the top 4 spots with #1 beating #2.

Sunday, May 20th - Mens final for the Internazionali BNL d'Italia - featuring Rafa Nadal and Nole Djokovic - is postpone because of rain.

Forecast for weather on Monday in Rome is not looking any better than what they had on Sunday. They are hoping to find a time frame with enough dry weather to complete the match outdoors on clay (like it's supposed to be) however, the possibility exists that the match will be moved to a hardcourt surface indoors. That match would not allow for spectators to be present, but it would be broadcast.

Both Nadal and Djokovic have said they do NOT want to stay in Rome past Monday.

Rafa and Nole are my two favorite tennis players so when they play each other for a finale, it's always hard to pick one to cheer for. I usually just watch, knowing I'll be satisfied with the outcome. However, this time, I was rooting for Rafa. He's lost so many times to Nole recently that I felt he just needed the win for peace of mind.

Roger's stint at #2 didn't last long. He's back to third place, but the points spread is pretty close for the top three.

I am a complete Rafa fan and really want to see him win the FO. I like Nole, but as you said, Rafa has lost too many times to him!

Most shocking moment in the FO so far . . . . . I'd have to say it was Serena losing to Razzano, who is ranked outside the top 100.

And Venus just got knocked out. Not as shocking but no Williamses! The times are a-changing.
