The FOX commentators think Eli Manning is God and the 49ers - well...anyway, Vernon Davis, after being a hero last week, has so far cost the 9ers with two personal fouls - one for excessive celebration after his touchdown run. There are a lot of Giant fans in the crowd as every time Victor Cruz catches a ball all you hear is Cruuuuuz. Another half to go, could turn in SF favor - I hope.

10 NY SF 7 at the half.

Two muffed plays by #10 on special teams cost the 49ers the game. Fox should be happy - their team won in overtime with a field goal. NEXT YEAR!

Well this blows. Two teams I really don't care for in the Super Bowl. I'll be watching for the commercials and halftime crap, I guess.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I am actually happy with both teams that won yesterday. I will be rooting for the Pats in 2 weeks - as I said, it is special to me and the 10 year anniversary of a special day for me - so I hope they can pull it off.

Yes, MrMet - Giants in Candlestick, imagine.

Punkin - the 49ers gave away three chances to possibly pull off a win. The first was Vernon Davis' pile on personal foul in the first half and the other two have #10 special team ball returner written all over them.

*sigh* So close yet those nasty NY Giants once again beat us in a playoff game. I'm still angry over how FOX called the game.

ugh! I'm sure I'll watch, and I'm I'll be pulling for the Giants, but only because I find them more tolerable than the Pats! Pats are really good and there are some players on the team that I really like, but I'd like them better if they were playing for someone else.

I feel bad for both Ravens Billy Cundiff and 49ers Kyle Williams. As they are the butt of jokes as the latter's father says his son is getting death threats over the two muffed punts. Really people need to grow up and learn that players are humans like we are.
    Happy Labor Day!
