Tough luck, football_chick. I was really pulling for them to make a splash in this playoff season.
so the bruncos won today?
Well, my Steelers are done for the season. Put up a tough fight against the Broncos. Just as well, I guess. I'd rather lose to Tebow's team then to face the Pats next week and lose to Brady.
Hope everyone heals well during the off-season. I am not a coach and I don't pretend to be . . . so how could I understand why the back-up quarterbacks are treated like the ugly red-headed step-child? All I know is it just doesn't seem right!
Thanks for the info Little Sew&Sew I now have to go mock my friend.
What are the Saints DOING?! SF is killing them. 17-0 at the start of the second quarter! :wallbang
Sorry, had to vent. :lol
I am pulling for the Saints - geaux Saints, you can do it!
I want to see someone knock the smirk off Harbaugh's face.
Smirk in place :teeth What a game - right down to the wire. I really thought the Saints had it in the third quarter, but the niner defense wouldn't give up. And then special teams in David Aker and offense fought their hearts out. Vernon Davis is the 49er hero of the hour. So satisfying for the loooong time fan to see us finally in the playoffs again and winning at least the first game. :D
Sorry ellen, but I have to root for the Giants tomorrow (Sunday 15th) because if the Giants win they travel to Candlestick and my best friend has tickets. For today's game, her daughter and son-in-law were in the stadium crowd and on their way home by bus as I type. Except for the homefield fact, I would root for the Packers as they are my second favorite team.
