Rangers are out, Cap's advance. Sorry Jane. Two players from the Rangers and two from the Bruins are hometown boys. I would have liked to see the Rangers advance rather than the Caps, not the Bruins though.

Its almost game time for the Habs. I have a feeling this is going to go to 7, just to make me crazy.

Looking forward to the Habs game tonight!

Soft of speaking of the Habs. I had the chance to watch some amazing hockey today. The IIHF Under 18 semi-final between the US and Canada was this afternoon. The US was up 4-1 then Canada came back and tied it up in the final 10 minutes. However, they lost in OT PK Subban's brother Malcolm is the goalie of the Canadian team. We play for Bronze tomorrow morning.

0-0 so far, just into the 3rd period. At least the Habs/Boston keep the games close...not like the last two Canucks/Chicago games.

Its a sad day. I need someone to talk some sense in me. Give me some statistics, some rational, give me something! I just read an article that said the Habs have the Bruins where they want them to be, they prefer to be the underdogs, and then will take the series, kinda stretching it, but I'll take it.
I know! That was a great game...

...unlike the one that just ended. Is it common for a team who is up 3-1 to lose the game that should be the clincher?

Alright, taracran! Nice to see a fellow Shark supporter.

Yep, for the most part. That 4th game is always the hardest to win!

Well, I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch the double overtime, only to see a loss for the Habs. Its do or die now.

football chick: I had no idea that tourney was on, thanks for letting us know! PK has certainly turned out to be a great player. Looking forward to seeing his brother.

CrossingGuard: Nothing is a sure thing in hockey. All the statistics in the world mean nothing sometimes.

Ok Canucks, you better make me happy today!!!

Oh, GA that was a tough loss last night. The Habs always play well in a do-or-die game. They never quit last year, and I don't expect them to quit this year either!!

You're right about the statistics meaning nothing...remember the Habs took out the two powerhouse players/teams last year, and they barely made the playoffs. Anything can happen in the playoffs, it's like the regular season means nothing at that point!

I'm so nervous about today's game, it's horrible. I'm going out to the nursery and get some pansies to plant for the front porch, then hope to get some lettuce seeds planted in the garden boxes as well. Sun is shining, we'll worry about the 'Nucks later!

Schnieder?? gets the start? sweet tell me this is a good move? I was listening to a sports radio talk program yesterday while painting my bathroom and they mentioned if they start Schnieder and they loose, then what? go back to Luongo, too much pressure on him, and besides, its not just the goalies that win the game. Maybe the guys needed a change up for whatever reason? Go Canucks, get this over with!

Man can that guy belt out the national anthem!

ETA:Sabres and Flyers, another series in o/t, the Sabres could have taken the Flyers out, but lost in o/t. Now the series is tied 3-3. I swear they do this on purpose.

I was just logging in here to post - Schneider??? Damn, wouldn't want to be that kid.

My husband couldn't bear to watch the Flyers/Sabres. I was texting him updates, but I didn't watch all the way thru either - just looking at Chris Pronger makes me lose my appetite, and we haven't had dinner yet.

Sadness about the Rangers fail...but I'm now solidly behind the Caps for the rest of the playoffs. I want this to be Ovi's playoff year.
