Boise State gained more ground in the polls than did Ohio State

To give credit to Alabama they were playing Arkansas the then #10 team in the nation and the Buckeyes were playing a lower tiered team in Eastern Michigan. Strength of schedule does matter.

Do you have inside information that Alabama is going to forfeit?

No, but now that Tebow's gone, the other players that helped him so much are finally getting the play time and recognition they deserve. Everyone discounted Florida this year and we are fielding some great players this year. Trey Burton, true freshman, broke Tebow's record last week and scored 6 TD's. And we have Demps, fastest player in college football. And Brantley, the QB has got an arm. Unfortunately, our receivers still aren't where they need to be and aren't paying enough attention to catch what he's throwing in those really long bombs. But so far the team's looking good. Getting tighter.
The only problem is that Florida, no matter who plays on the team, seems to get intimidated and then everything all falls apart. And we are a great third quarter team. If we can not be intimidated tomorrow and come out fighting in the first half, not the 2nd, I think Alabama just might get knocked out of number one.
If not, I don't think Florida will get the beating everyone thinks is goign to happen. I think the scores will be close.

I still think that your best bet is NCAA sanctions against Alabama

    It's Big Ten opening day!!

I see Ohio State is playing Illinois... *yawn*

The real Big Ten game today is Penn State at Iowa. Could go either way, but I have a feeling my Nittany Lions can pull out a win.

Seriously Tennessee, 14 people on the field? Stupid, stupid mistake. LSU, you lucked out. Big time.

I can't wait to see the crap hit the fan over this one--basically LSU had an opportunity to organize a play that they otherwise would have never been able to put together (as evidenced the first go-round) given the time clock and the player field positions.

Don't get me wrong, I was actually pulling for the tigers on this one but I think Tenn may have gotten screwed (even if they can't count).
