    Re: College Football 2010

Noon game, in The Swamp with 90,000 of my closest friends and I have never been so hot in my entire life. BUT, it was great to be back in the Swamp, great to see a home game even if the Gators need a LOT of work.

Dad's ashes are now on the sidelines, next to the Gator bench, he has permanent front row seats to every game in the Swamp! And hopefully he is whispering in Urban Meyer's ear: move Mike Pouncey back to guard. Give Demps the ball more and make holes for him to run and for god's sake, get those receivers in some extra practice. A great arm on a QB is useless if the receivers can't catch! Go Dad! Go Gators

Oh, come on, he's little. My male Jack Russell weighed more than this gator. And you may not see it in the photo, but they had his jaw taped shut. It was a cool experience, never held a gator before. Where I come from, they are a LOT bigger than that, so don't want to get near them.

Next game I go too is going to be a night game in Oct. or Nov. Noon in Florida the first of Sept., is brutal.

I'll trade you. I'm going to the Washington/Syracuse game this Saturday and to Washington/Nebraska on the 18th. I'm guessing it's going to be raining like cats and dawgs both games. Nothing better than a torrential downpour to get you in the mood for football.

Mariner, I couldn't have been any more soaked in a torrential downpour than I was after 3 hours in that heat. I don't think I've ever been that hot before. And people were dropping all over the place from the heat.

Yikes. We don't get that kind of humidity even when it gets in the 90's and 100's so I can hardly imagine. I'm just bitter because the September home games here are usually in the 60's or 70's and sunny. Not so much this year.

Well let me say that I have never before seen a golf cart ambulance that had a light, siren and was able to hold a regular ambulance stretcher. It was painted like an ambulance too. And it got a work out transporting people out to the regular ambulance when they dropped from the heat. It was BRUTAL.

Yeah, they have one of those at Penn State games too... except it's for the drunks.
