Uruguay held France to nil-nil, pretty impressive since they were down to ten men for the last five minutes.

France had the better game and wanted a penalty for hand ball, but it was accidental and the ref was having none of it

South Korea played well

England went a goal up after 4, but the US is playing a pretty good game.
One really good chance from an Altidore header. Climbed really well over the English defenders but didn't connect well with the header.
The US side is very composed.

That was embarassingly terrible

Although the manner in which the US pulled even was awful, I do think their play was such that they deserved to be level, possibly even ahead at that point.
If England had ended up winning 1-0 I think the US would have every right to be disappointed with the result.

That was a real BS attempt at a substitution by the US.
I'm glad the ref didn't allow it, even if it did mean finishing the game a few seconds early.

I don't disagree. Robert Green ought to kiss that post. Altidore had him. He would have had to go into a witness protection program if the ball had gone in.
