Congrats to Boston!!
That was quite a game.
Kobe seemed to be the only 1 playing for the Lakers tonight. :ohno

Looks like if they win again, that title will more than likely go to him.
If we win, Kob will get it for sure. :biglove
Either way, I love basketball and these teams are the best.
Yes, Paul did get MVP in 2008!!! :)Quote:

What a game.
I knew it was going to take 7 games.
LA has the advantage now, since game 7 will be in LA, too.
But, this series has been like a ping pong match and you never know who's going to get it.:biglove
The Celts played HORRIBLE. :nono
:crying :crying :crying
I hope game 7 goes the way game 6 did! The Lakers can't be beat when they are at their best. They were pretty close to being at their best last night! I think the Celtics got used to the love from the Boston fans. They just couldn't pull it together at the Staples Center.
Regardless of who wins, the MVP is Kobe! And I don't even like the guy. You just cannot deny his contributions.
Kobe is a terrific player and they did play extremely well last night. The Celtics were definitely off in their game.
It's still anybody's game, though, and 2 years ago when these guys faced off, the title went to Boston.
So, I'm not calling it yet. :biglove
The news keeps gong on today about the increased Police presence they will have tomorrow night "when the Lakers win."
Their words, not mine.
The police chief has said he wants to prevent bad incidents like happened the last time.
For those of you on the East Coast, are they also saying, "When the Celtics win"
It just seems a bit presumptuous at this point, IMO.
I understand the need for increased police / fire fighters, but "when they win" seems a bit much. Almost like after Rodney King case trial acquittal of the police involved and Mayor Bradley going on with a very incendiary speech about how mad people must be feeling. And, right after that we had the LA riots.
Well, you would expect L.A. would be optimistic that their team would win!
