You bet! So ready for the Lombardi Trophy to come home where it belongs!
Bart Starr's first Super Bowl win (before it was called "Super Bowl") was at age 27. Brett Favre's first Super Bowl win was at age 27. Guess how old Aaron Rodgers is.

There's something to be said for wanting to prove that they're not lypsynching but the sound quality was really off.

I really enjoyed the collection/sampling of songs they chose though.

I kind of thought the halftime show was horrendous. Obviously they had a lot of issues with sound, and some other technical malfunctions, but I just thought the whole thing was weird. Not my scene.

Great game, though, and congrats to the Pack!

My guess is that because of the blizzards/weather issues, the tech staff at the stadium wasn't able to do a full check on lighting and sound.
    But, so what?
    The Packers won!!! Woo-HOO!!!

When they started with the Dirty Dancing song, I swear I thought Jennifer Grey was going to appear on stage (tears flowing, naturally). Even so, sound issues aside, I wasn't crazy about it. I was in the Galapagos for last year's Superbowl, but I liked Springsteen a couple years ago better. I don't remember much about Tom Petty back in '08... the game had me too keyed up.

I have to say, I felt bad for Christina Aguilera... even though I know all the words to the National Anthem, I've slipped up as well... not on that stage, but I felt bad for her.

Aaron Rodgers played a great game and I think win or lose, deserved the MVP (although if they had lost, Mendenhall would've been my choice on the Steelers)... if the receivers had held onto a couple more passes, this game wouldn't have even been close.

Also of interest, Tom Brady was the unanimous MVP... with all the hype surrounding Vick, I was surprised that he didn't receive a single vote.

...And now, we wait. Here's hoping that training camp begins in July and we get a full slate in next year.

Well, all the MVP wins in the world doesn't take away from the fact Brady fell apart during the mos timportant game of the year for the Pats. God, that was a trainwreck. No excuses. As a pats fan, the only prize that matters is the Superbowl.
MY hat is off to Greenbay. Plus I hate Ben Rothlesberger, so I'm doubly excited by Greenbay's win.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the whole thing was awful. I'm not a Peas fan anyway. My husband asked if the people with boxes on their heads were dancing ice cubes.

Excellent game, though - yay Packers!
