So - as long as it's 1-0 for the guys in purple I don't care if they play 7 periods of 0-0-. You need to learn the other exciting parts of hockey, there's more to it than goals.

Hockey is often a game of subtle nuances and the little things... But I'd still prefer to see the stars score... especially if I pay 200 bucks for a ticket.

(and no, I don't mean the Dallas Stars, necessarily...)

Well, yes, scoring is good. But I've only been to one NHL game (yes, really) and it was a 1-0 win by the Oilers over the Avalanche. I had a BLAST. Of course Mr Ducky missed the only goal buying beer. Mwa ha ha.

Defensive battles can be very exciting... but there's no feeling like 18,000+ fans jumping up out of their seats in unison as the red lamp is lit and the horns are blazing... once you've experienced it a few times, you just get selfish I guess... you just want more... more! :p

    Or maybe that's just me...

Oh, whatever. Just be glad you're at a hockey game. Take it from a girl 400 km from anywhere.

Anyway, it's a great time to love the Ducks. I Robbie Niedermayer.

Cool that the bros are playing in separate finals. If you were the parent which game are you going to go to?

    You always liked him best..

I can hardly believe Rob has re-discovered his game in such dramatic fashion. Mind-boggling.
