CBC always did a good job and I know a lot of Americans in the border states liked to watch it. They always had a lot more hours of coverage than the main NBC station. CTV seems to be continuing in terms of programming hours though (I checked out the schedule for one day next week and NBC was breaking for two hours at 5 for news while CTV was breaking for only half-an-hour. And NBC is still airing Entertainment Tonight at 7 pm in my area).

I've got my Vancouver 2010 mittens so I'm ready, set, go.

Everyone with an antenna or cable will get CTV. Part of the CRTC agreement with cable companies is that they must carry the local TV stations.

I always loved the CBC coverage too, so much better then the NBC and of course there were athletes from all countries not solely just Canada. Let's hope CTV continues to do a great job.

    Re: The Olympic Games

    That's very sad news.
I haven't checked out your link yet, but I did see a couple of others where they had footage of the crash.
I definitely don't want to watch that.

On a happier note though, very excited for you, M_shell.
Hope you have a great time and will tell us all about it.

Very sad news to hear about the Luger. I just watched it, why do they show such sad footage.

I just wanted to wish everyone luck on all your favourite athletes. The Olympics bring such hope and determination to achieve dreams. Lots of tears, lots of joy, hopefully we can all share it together here.
