It was an awesome experience to be at the game. I'm starting to think Jake Locker and Sark might actually get them to a bowl game. Next week is their first road game which is going to be a real indicator of where they are.

I can hardly wait to watch this game!
My son & I were glued to the television for what seemed like 24 hours watching football this past weekend. Some great games indeed.
Gosh I love this time of year!

A close Michigan victory today.
But I cannot believe the awful call that may have cost Indian the game. When both an offensive and defensive player "catch" the ball - possession goes to the offense, so say the rule books. The officials gave posession to the defense (Michigan). Then, they reviewed the play, and let the call stand. :
I am a BIG Michigan fan - and that call really really ticked me off.

Re: College Football 2009

The Ducks beat Cal 42-3. This should get them back in the polls. They finally got their offense together and the defense did a great job holding Cal to just one field goal.

Re: College Football 2009

The curse of Iowa got Penn State again. We lost to them by 1 point last season, thus ruining our perfect season. Tonight was supposed to be the night we got our payback. Prime time, White out, Gameday, etc. Nope. Darn Hawkeyes got us again! We definitely didn't look like a Top 5 team, let alone a top 20 team. Daryll Clark looked awful and our defense forgot to show up. Happy Valley isn't very happy tonight.

Re: College Football 2009

4 top ten teams lost yesterday.

Still waiting to hear how bad the concussion is that Tebow suffered during the FL/KY game. Thank goodness we have a bye week next week so everyone can recover.

And ESPN, is it REALLY necessary to show players getting sick on the sidelines? We got it the first dozen times you said it: Florida has had a lot of cases of flu and "respiratory illlness", but showing hte players with barf bags, using them prior to kick off, does not go well with the fans chicken wings at home. Plus, those Pouncey twins would kick your butt if they knew you had shown them getting sick on the sidelines to a nationwide audience.

Feeling "blue" here too Ashley.

Do we NOT have a back-up quarterback????

Re: College Football 2009

The backup quarterback is horrible. He played in the last quarter of the first 2 or 3 games this season and was not very good. Clark definitely let his nerves get to him and I think he was too focused on getting payback. Iowa played a tough game. I can't believe how many Top 10 teams lost this week!
