Cootie, I did that once and only once because I got the same response you did.

So I heard someone say that since Ga Tech got beat by Georgia and Clemson got beat by South Carolina did that mean that the SEC had won the ACC conference?

SEC game tomorrow! Can't wait! GOOOOOO GATORS!

That Pitt/Cincy game was nuts. What a heartbreaker for Pitt. The kid who fumbled the extra point snap that lost Pitt the game is from my area.

Tim Tebow sitting on the sidelines, tears running down his face, after Florida's loss to Alabama is the saddest thing I've ever seen in college football. Such a great kid.

Even though I was rooting for Bama the whole way, that probably was one of the saddest moments I've seen in college football too.

Ditto. I was rooting for Bama too since I'd rather Texas play them than Florida, but seeing him there in tears was sad. He was a class act too giving props to Bama for a good game.

2009 NCAA College Football Polls and Rankings for Week 15 - ESPN

I was wondering how many losses it would take for USC to finally drop out of the Top 25.

And speaking of USC, have you heard about the interview Charlie Weiss, lately head coach of Notre Dame, gave and what he said about Pete Carroll? Former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis refutes comments, apologizes to USC's Pete Carroll - ESPN

"He's doing it in Malibu and it's not national news. What's the difference? I don't understand. Why is it OK for one guy to do things like that, but for me, I'm scrutinized when I swear. I'm sorry for swearing; absolve my sins."

Weis was referring to a 2006 "60 Minutes" profile that showed him swearing and caused a minor stir, but the root of his reference to Carroll's alleged living arrangement had been unclear. Carroll is married with three children and a grandchild.
    ...
When told of the initial IrishIllustrated.com posting Saturday night, Carroll had told the Times, "It's untrue, it's irresponsible and it's incredible he'd be talking about me like that."
Sounds as if Weiss not only lost his job, he may have lost his marbles as well. But he has apologized to Carroll. Would love to have overheard that conversation: "Hey, Pete, it's Charlie. Just wanted to say I'm sorry I accused you of being shacked up with a coed in the national media. Hope there aren't any hard feelings." I recommend one of those nice bouquets made out of cantaloupes and pineapples they're always advertising on TV.

Sorry, left out the relevant sentence in the above post,
    Weiss:
"Let me ask you this question: You guys know about things that go on in different places. Was I living with a grad student in Malibu, or was I living with my wife in my house? You could bet that if I were living with a grad student here in South Bend, it would be national news.
