...Would love to show the OSU/USC game but in-laws are visiting and not sports fan (or TV fans). Add surround sound and it was like we were there.[/QUOTE]

So convert them. I think anyone would be a sports fan by watching it on a big ass tv.

Did you see that interception by Troy Polamalu? He's insane!

2/3 of the Earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by Troy Polamalu.
It was a costly game for the Steelers though. Polamalu is out 3-6 weeks with an MCL sprain.

Some interesting 1 pm games so far, with big favorites losing (Green Bay), barely squeaking by (Washington), etc. I'd planned on getting my errands done during the Jets game, but found myself sticking around. They really outplayed New England today.

And now I actually have a choice of which 4 pm game to watch?!? Pinch me.

Green Bay was one of the three 9 1/2 pt favorites, and one of the two playing at home- my dad and I are splitting his entry and mine into a suicide pool, and I was thisclose to telling him to take Green Bay since Minnesota was on the road. Naturally, of those three, the only one that won their game handily WAS Minnesota, and I am very glad I kept my mouth shut! 25 other people had Green Bay, though, and 14 people had Tennessee, so I'm happy about those two games!

Why is it that they start stinking up the place in the year after they win the Superbowl?

My only consolation: the Eagles lost . . . . big time!
