Jamal Lewis was back and rushed for over 100 yards. Penalties and a big special teams turnover killed the Bills though. You know, aside from general ineptitude. Terrell Owens' head must be ready to explode. Through five weeks, 8 receptions for 158 yards with 1 TD likely does not a happy TO make.Originally Posted by chrisg;3724576;
Eli played just shy of two quarters. David Carr looked like he was having fun out there. Just ok, stats wise, and I fear for the Giants season if this prevents Eli from playing, but he definitely looked like he was having fun. The Raiders, of course, are terrible, but they're certainly not alone in that camp this season.
I was trying to picture what Jerry Jones would do if the Cowboys lost to the Chiefs. Wade Philips' seat must be starting to get a bit warm.
I was happy for the Bengals that they were able to get a win for their defensive coordinator, who was coaching in spite of his wife's recent passing. CBS did a great job of giving us some different games at the end of the Giants game, and the Ravens just shot themselves in the foot on the Bengals' last drive. A couple poorly timed pass interference penalties, etc.
Steelers-Lions was closer than I was expecting. This Lions team isn't as bad as last year's, and I don't think they're the worst team in the league. There's some stiff competition for that title this year.
