| Re: Major League Baseball 2009 Another parade in the Canyon of Heroes. The last one we had for the Yankees I went to with my Uncle who was the biggest Yankee fan. He passed away less than a year later on September 11th in WTC2 -- not far from the Canyon of Heroes. I'm going to go to the parade on Friday in honor of my Uncle.

| Re: Major League Baseball 2009 Congratulations to the Bronx Bombers on #27. They have won more world series than the next three teams combined. Yankees: 27 Cardinals: 10 Athletics: 9 Red Sox: 7 I heard Mariano Rivera say today that he was in a lot of pain last night. He sure didn't show it. And as for Derek Jeter, I would love to see him manage the Yankees at some point after he retires, which I hope won't be for several more years.

| Re: Major League Baseball 2009 Well, can't say I have any love for the Yankees, but there's no arguing that they hit the jackpot with their free agent signings this year. Wonder what will happen with this year's free agent crop? I'm hoping Lackey signs with the Mets, but I'm suspect about Matt Holliday and Jason Bay. Prolly will have to overpay for either of their services. |
