It's going to be an interesting week. I like Oakland at Pittsburgh, Giants at St. Louis, and Philly at Washington. Those will be the games to watch.

Of course at 1 I'll watch Jacksonville at the Chefs (because the Chefs are my team -intentionally misspelled )

4 o'clock I agree - I'll watch the Oakland/Pittsburgh one.

And Monday night football- WOW - what a good week. We cheer for the Redskins because they're the local team. We have 2 couples that we are good friends with...one is the most avid Eagles fan, the other avid Redskins! Fortunately, they don't know each other!

I got to work Monday Night!!!!!!
I still root for the Skins even though I haven't lived in the DC area since 1978, they were the team I grew up with. I also finally broke down and started rooting for the Rams a little bit, but my main loyalty will always be the Skins!!!!!

BF, I can tell you now that the Chiefs are gonna win. There's no way that the sucky Jaguars are ever gonna beat anyone!!

By the way, they're my local team...so trust me on this one.

(this has to do with Jaguars vs. Chiefs)

Okay...that "touchdown" that Gonzalez (from the Chiefs) supposedly scored isn't actually a touchdown. That friggin referee just didn't look at the play from the right camera angle to see that. His first foot didn't even touch the ground. It was a few feet up from the ground!! UGH!!! I hate that old fat ref that thinks he's sooooo cool. He penalizes the Jaguars for holding when there was no holding. I don't get it!!! Every ref hates the Jaguars!!!

...I know the Jaguars suck and all, but come on! A little fairness from the refs would go a long way!!

Have to disagree with you on that one Mdrio!

That was SO obviously a touchdown I couldn't even believe it had to be reviewed! Even the announcers were baffled

But, alas it did no good, and I'm sure the Chiefs are in for yet another mediocre season. Not good enough to make the playoffs, but not bad enough to get a good draft pick!

I don't mean to argue, but I'm tellin ya...if you look at it from the front camera angle, his first foot was a few feet up from the ground.

No hard feelings, BF. I just get a little heated during the games.

Mdrio! No hard feelings at all little buddy I enjoy some friendly banter especially when it's about football! (even if you did jinx the Chiefs - haha!)

I'll just point out one last thing....
Even if the official ruled incorrectly on a bad angle, and Tony's foot did not actually touch down...it is still a touchdown because he would have landed in bounds if he would not have been pushed out by the 2 Jax defenders.

A catch is the act of establishing player possession of a live ball which is in flight, and first contacting the ground inbounds or being contacted by an opponent in such a way that he is prevented from returning to the ground inbounds while maintaining possession of the ball.
