For some reason, I just can't get excited about this year's Superbowl. I'll probably flip back and forth. And I'm not a Springsteen fan so the halftime show isn't a must-see. :lol
Jennifer Hudson sang The Star Spangled Banner beautifully. You could tell she was nervous, it was her first appearance since the tragedy in her family.
Loved that Pepsi commercial with Bob Dylan and that guy that I can never remember his name singing Forever Young.
Can care less about the game, but I did like that they showed the crew from the airline that crashed in the Hudson River. My family in Tampa has basically been hunkered in the house for the past few days as Tampa has been under siege from all the people and festivities. This game is why I couldn't get a flight for my aunt's funeral.
OK, the Mr. and Mrs. Potato head commercial was a SCREAM!!!!!
She did look a bit nervous at first. But as she started singing it looked as if a weight had been lifted or something. I have never heard her sound this good.Quote:

Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuce!
This and Prince two years back are probably the only two halftimes I've enjoyed in many a year.
I don't think I've ever seen a performer have such a good time at a super bowl half time show as Bruce did.
And I just can't look at Little Steven Van Zandt anymore and not see Silvio from the Sopranos.
Good show. Preceded by one of the most amazing plays ever. That was quite an interception and 100 yard run for a touchdown. Funny, but it's probably the ONLY play I've watched tonight as I really could not care that much about the game.
ETA: Just heard from my brother and they could see the fireworks at the half at his house from the stadium.
That Heroes commecial was pretty funny with Jerry Rice, Warren Sapp and Elway. "I always knew he was one of us". :rofl
I definitely agree with you there!Quote:

But the new Pixar movie looks pretty good. "We just went to code brown. I have to go change my pants." :lol
My husband brought home the glasses and my 17 year old daughter said: "good thing they didn't have this when Janet Jackson's boob popped out, that would have just been even more gross."
