    Some chuckles

Curtis Joseph made it clear why he came to Motown -- to win his first Stanley Cup
Bobby Holik was the most significant off-season signing
Eastern Conference Champion: New York Rangers
Stanley Cup Champion: Toronto Maple Leafs
    Hart Trophy (MVP): Jaromir Jagr.

We were so much more innocent then .....

Minnesota wins game two, a little pushing and shoving at the end, including a little fight involving Bertuzzi and Brown after the game.

    Game three should be fun.

    "A little pushing and shoving"?

That was thisclose to a bench-clearer. The Wild bench already was.

On replay, it should have been a penalty shot for the the Nucks . Next game should be brutal. Same with Sens/Philly. Watch Varada - Brashear. Those two are going to have it out before long.

Eny, I'm holding back the tears. It's tough, but I'm managing. Great predictions!!!

Go Ducks Go!!! (the folks in the office pool that mocked me picking them to beat the Stars (we repick all the way through after the first round) are not happy. The Wings fan is downright bitter. I know there are two more games to play, but the Ducks are looking tough!

I know this is a little off topic - but the USA lost the DENMARK?!!!! Oh the humanity!!!

I didn't get to watch enough hockey this weekend. And when I was running errands on Saturday, I turned on the radio to listen to the Ducks/Stars game. You know, because Colorado is such a hockey state because of the Avs, right? So I turn on the Avs flagship station, and what do I hear? The freakin' NFL draft?!!!! A U G H ! ! ! Who gives a #$%&@!! who Arizona is taking with the 19th pick????!!!! Nope, the Avs are out and NOBODY is discussing hockey on the radio any more. Losers.

    That's it - I'm moving to Canada.

Ducky, scootch over and pass me some of that juice.

Well, Arizona didn't seem to care who they took with the 19th pick either... but that is pretty consistent with the reasons why they lose a lot.

I saw the Wild bench clear, but it seemed like only Bertuzzi was the only person really pissed off. He almost caused a brawl all by himself though.
