They played quite hard in the first period, and just didn't get the goals they could have.

I guess you could argue that they lost because Blake took that penalty late in the third for hitting someone. But they let the Wild hang around, and there is no good reason for blowing a 3-1 series lead.

Yes. And cross checks into the goal post aren't (see the non-call on Foote during the Wild's first pp). The officiating was horrible - no question - both ways.
