    Olympics-related commericals which have made you go "hmmm?"

    I just saw a McDonald's commercial with U.S. Olympic team members waving Fried Chicken Sandwiches around and had to ask myself...

    When's the last time most of those folks actually had a Fried Chicken sandwich? REALLY?

    Anyone else see any other Olympics-related commercials which have made them go "hmmm" for some reason?

    I always laugh a bit with Coke ads.. I have the same thoughts about McDonalds (who is 'proudly' installed in the Olympic Village and has been for years). Coke isn't the best choice of drink for anyone in training lol

    I do like the Visa ones.. "Go World", nice tag line

    Since I am DVRing a lot of it.. I am skipping a lot of the ads.

    I'm finding the Budweiser commercials sort of ironic and bittersweet. They proclaim "The Great American Beer," when in fact it's now the 'Great Belgian Beer." Seems like a lot of our esteemed institutions are now owned by foreign countries.

    The one with the US men's basketball team playing and Marvin Gaye singing the national anthem makes me teary every time. I don't find it inspiring as much as I find it poignant because Marvin is gone

    How about the commercial that shows clips of athletes competing and then clips of Obama and then McCain.
