The other channels that aired the Olympics were USA, CNBC, MSNBC, and Oxygen. Channel-wise, USA is right before MTV for me, so maybe that's what you were thinking of?

Yeah, I figured that later on.

But I could have sworn Yahoo had something else other than the description I posted that spoiled the outcome. It was the title that said "USA overcomes tragedy to win gold" or something like that.

I don't think Leona was lip-synching. I could barely hear what she was singing. If she really was lip-synching, then I think the music would be louder.

And like someone else before me said, she won the X-Factor over in the UK (it's a singing competition, much like American Idol, but there's a more variety of contestants than just solo singers like there is in AI). So unless she was sick or something, then she has no need to lip synch.

I got so pissed when I watched boxing. It got to a point where I couldn't handle it anymore. The judges were blind most of the time! Well, I don't really expect them to see everything since no one is perfect, but it just got frustrating. The commentators would point out a clear shot many times, but the judges almost never gave them credit.

Re: Summer Olympics: Beijing, China

I know, the boxing scoring was almost as bad as the gymnastics.
Well except for one fight where there was a KO and it was pretty obvious who won as the other guy was laying flat on the mat. I think even the judges saw THAT one.
