Though my current hometown guys are kind of skating through -- dismal season overall, but if they win on Sunday, they're in the playoffs. I'm not holding my breath.

I'm just glad I don't live in (nor have any affection for) Detroit (no offense intended to Lions fans). Sucks to be them this season . . .

Unless the Packers lose to the Lions on Sunday (Hey, we have Aaron Rodgers. It could happen.) Then it'll suck to be us!

It is being reported that the 49er's are keeping Singletary around.

That would be fine with me. I like Singletary. He's old school.

I really like him too. Hate the 49ers, but he's a good guy.

    Two things:
    1. Happy and relieved that the Packers didn't lose to Detroit today; this season was embarrassing enough!
    2. Glad that the Chargers are in the playoffs -- but sheesh! First in the division with an 8 - 8 record? That's kind of sad.

Yup, there's a real dearth of good football on the west coast this year. The Cards aren't anything to write home about either.

There's going to be a lot of bodies on the coaching carousel this off-season... wonder what happens to Wade Phillips after that comedy of errors today in Philly. And Tony Romo for that matter-- hot at the start of the year, and come December, ice cold.

Speaking of Romo, is there something wrong with my TV, or has he grown a badonkadonk over the season?

I must say I enjoyed seeing the Chargers light up the Bronco's on National tv lastnight. The look of shock and slack Jaw of Cutler was a sight to be hold. lol.
