| Re: Euro 2008 Did anyone see the Turkey-Czech game? Or the last few minutes for that matter? That was a crazy (and exciting) end. |

| Re: Euro 2008 Well, that's it for me. Although, I never really got into the whole thing. Swedish media has a tendency to overhype our team, saying that this is the year we can win - every time there's an international cup (and always referring to the World Cup of 94 when we came in third). Therefore I'm always cautious about me hopes, I usually never have higher hopes than for Sweden to make it to the quarter finals (EC) or the eigth-final (WC), so I'm a little disappointed. However, they played badly last night.

| Re: Euro 2008 OMG. I saw the extra time and penalty kicks in the Turkey-Croatia quarterfinal. That was just flipping crazy. No goals for 119 minutes plus and then two within the last 45 seconds?!?

| Re: Euro 2008 Turkey is my favorite this year! I hope they can go all the way I will be seriously concerned if they score a goal before Germany though, given their track record in this tournament. They cannot score before they see a goal or two in their nets![]() |

| Re: Euro 2008 Well, I've pretty much lost interest now the Dutch are out. Russia beat them fair and square yesterday. Holland was of it's game, but that's no excuse, the Russian team was very good.

| Re: Euro 2008 That game surprised me. I fully expected the Dutch to take it. The Russians were very good. ![]()

| Re: Euro 2008 The last eliminations have been surprising, at least for me. I fully expected Portugal and Holland to win their game. I also expect Spain to win over Italy, but who knows...Like my husband told me, at this point it's anybody's game. | |
